The slide is cut for the original PDP's Optics Ready (OR) footprint and accepts red-dot sights with the Vortex, Leupold, C-More and Trijicon mounting patterns via separately available adapter plates. Out of the box you get iron sights with a side-adjustable rear sight — the same setup professional shooters use to zero a duty pistol. A Picatinny rail on the dustcover takes a tactical light or laser.
Non-blowback = more shots per CO2
The NBB (non-blowback) design trades the simulated slide recoil of a GBB pistol for two big advantages: roughly twice as many shots per 12 g CO2 capsule, and reliable cold-weather operation. Combined with the integrated piercing tool in the backstrap, swapping a fresh CO2 cartridge is a 5-second job in any weather.
