The P226 earned its reputation as the pistol of the US Navy SEALs, and this replica gives you the same full-size, all-metal feel. It is the Swiss Arms Navy Pistol, made in Taiwan for Cybergun as a close copy of the railed P226R. It runs on green gas and is a true gas blowback (GBB) pistol: with every shot the slide snaps back and you feel the recoil in your hand.
Works like the real pistol
- Full-metal body: about 0.9 kg, so it has the weight and balance of a real service pistol.
- Slide lock on empty: after the last shot the slide stays open, so you know it is time to change magazines.
- Single and double action: fire from the cocked hammer or with a long double-action pull, and lower the hammer safely with the decocking lever.
- White-dot sights: quicker aiming, also in poor light.
- Accessory rail under the barrel for a light or laser.
- Adjustable hop-up: set the BB flight for your BB weight.
On the field
At about 0.9 J (94 m/s) it is strong enough for outdoor games and within the pistol limits of most fields. The 22 BB magazine holds the gas as well as the BBs, so carrying a spare loaded magazine means a full reload in seconds. Like all gas pistols, it gives its best in mild weather: in the cold the power and the kick drop. For safety and comfort, carry it in a holster.
Always wear eye protection when shooting, such as Bolle Cobra goggles.
