M3A1 Grease Gun Submachine Gun Full Metal

Full metal airsoft replica of WW2 American submachine gun M3, known as the Grease Gun. It was a replacement for the Thompson submachine gun, because it was cheaper to make, but no as accurate. The Grease Gun looks very iconic for it's period, reminds a bit of British Sten submachine gun or other guns when they were produced as cheap as possible in huge numbers and quickly for a war effort. Modernized version of the M3 known as the M3A1 was later introduced into service, with all parts except the bolt, housing assembly, and receiver interchangeable with those of the M3. The M3A1 had several improvements.

M3 gun has a very simple retractable wireframe stock, rudimentary iron sights. The iconic and unique features - no charging handle, the gun is charged with a finger and the shell eject port door working as a safety switch. Everything to reduce cost. The body of the replica and magazine are steel, the barrel and small elements are an alloy of zinc and aluminum. Grease Gun has weld imitations as well as various imperfections tied to the manufacture process of the original, in the case of this replica it is fully intentional and positively influences the resemblance towards the live firearm. Very realistic looking!

The replica, like the original is full auto fire, however, after a bit of practice you can learn to fire single rounds. Fed with a steel, hi-cap, 520 BB magazine. The replica has a safety in the form of shell ejection cover (cover the shell ejector in order to put the safety on) just like the original.

This airsoft gun not just looks awesome, it has good internals too. It has an improved reinforced gearbox, 18/1 gears that are placed on slick 7 mm bearings, which can take heavy loads. The trigger is connected to a microswitch which offers a better reactivity and trigger response.
