Searching for a SVT-40? This is a fully legal 1:1 scale airsoft replica — the same silhouette, size and feel as the historic weapon, but no firearms permit required in most EU countries. Owning a real SVT-40 typically means a certified gun safe, background checks and €1,500–€4,000+ for a collectable original. This replica costs a fraction of that, ships across the EU, and is the fastest legal way to own an accurate copy of this gun for display, historical re-enactment, airsoft skirmish, or as a learning piece. Note: airsoft laws vary by country — it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that owning an airsoft replica is legal where they live before purchasing.
Tokarev's Soviet self-loading rifle
The SVT-40 (Samozaryadnaya Vintovka Tokareva, model of 1940) was the Soviet Union's attempt to give every Red Army infantryman a semi-automatic battle rifle on the eve of the Second World War. Designed by Fyodor Tokarev, it served on the Eastern Front in massive numbers and was prized by both sides — captured SVTs were so respected the Wehrmacht issued them as Selbstladegewehr 259(r).
This is the real-wood airsoft AEG variant: genuine wooden stock and grip over an aluminium body, with a metal-bodied 80-round magazine that drives an electric gearbox in semi-auto fire only. The long 600 mm inner barrel and chrono around 310 FPS (~1.41 J) make it a credible DMR for woodland play.
