Searching for a Kar98k? This is a legal airsoft replica with the look and feel of the German service rifle of WWII, and no firearms permit is required in most EU countries. A real Kar98k means a firearms licence, a gun safe and background checks. This replica ships across the EU and is a simple way to own a Kar98 for display, re-enactment or the airsoft field. Note: airsoft laws vary by country: it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that owning an airsoft replica is legal where they live before purchasing.
More than 14 million Kar98k rifles were made between 1935 and 1945, and it was the rifle of the German infantryman throughout the war. It is still carried today by the Bundeswehr's ceremonial guard battalion. This airsoft version pairs that silhouette with internals built for the field.
Real wood outside, VSR-10 inside
The one-piece stock is varnished real wood with a steel buttplate and sling slots. The front sight block is steel, pinned to the barrel, with a German-style front sight; the aluminium receiver carries the safety, magazine release, adjustable rear sight and markings on the top and left side. Inside, the rifle is built on the VSR-10 platform, the most common airsoft sniper system, so springs, hop-up rubbers and barrels are easy to find when you want to tune it.
Why this Kar98
- Magazine-fed: a 24-round magazine instead of one BB per shell, so it suits long games as well as display. A speed loader is included.
- Accurate barrel: 485 mm × 6.04 mm precision inner barrel inside an outer barrel of about 63 cm.
- Solid action: metal trigger block with a 90-degree piston lock and a 22 mm cylinder.
