The Lee-Enfield was the standard service rifle of the British Empire and Commonwealth from 1895 to 1957 — the longest-serving bolt-action rifle in modern military history. The SMLE Mk III, introduced in 1907, became the icon of both World Wars: simplified rear sights, an integrated charger guide, and the famous 10-round detachable magazine. From the Western Front trenches of 1914 to the jungles of Burma in 1944, the Lee-Enfield earned a reputation for reliability and a famously fast bolt — the "mad minute" of trained British infantry hit roughly 30 aimed shots per minute, fast enough that German troops at Mons reportedly thought they were facing machine guns.
This airsoft replica honours the original with a real wood stock and forend, full metal receiver and barrel assembly, and — uniquely among WWII rifle replicas — a true shell-ejecting action. The detachable magazine holds six metal shells, each chambering a single BB. Cycle the bolt and the spent shell flies out the ejection port just like the real thing. It is the closest you can get to the feel of a real Lee-Enfield without a firearms licence.
Internally this is a spring-powered bolt-action rifle. Each shot is cocked by working the bolt — the same rhythm as the real weapon. Muzzle velocity is approximately 345 FPS / 105 m/s with 0.20 g BBs (~0.95 J), well-suited for outdoor field skirmish and skirmish-line WWII re-enactment.
Six metal shells are included in the package. They use the same shell pattern as our Kar98k real wood and Kar98 polymer rifles — spares are interchangeable.
The natural pairing for the SMLE in any WWII Allied loadout is the STEN MK2 Full Steel SMG for close-range firepower, or the later Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I service rifle. For Eastern Front Allied kit see the Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 PU sniper. German opposition is covered by the Kar98k.
I have received the package, and I am very happy, thank you!!!
