A Note on BB Weight

At 2.49 joule, this rifle is specifically designed for heavy BBs. Use 0.20g BBs only for chronographing – for actual field use, 0.30g, 0.32g, 0.36g, 0.43g or heavier BBs dramatically improve accuracy and reduce wind drift at distance. With 0.36g BBs the effective range and grouping are significantly better than with lighter ammunition. Check your local field’s joule limits before using – 2.49 joule exceeds the limit at some sites that cap bolt-action rifles at 2.0 joule or 1.5 joule.
