This is the rifle that defined Soviet marksmanship in WWII — the Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 with the PU sniper scope. Carried by Vasily Zaytsev at Stalingrad, by hundreds of Soviet snipers across the Eastern Front, and recreated faithfully here as a full-size airsoft replica in genuine wood and metal. The detail, the weight and the bolt cycle make this one of the most authentic WWII sniper rifle replicas you can buy.
The stock, handguard and grip are genuine hardwood — the same colour, grain and finish you'd see on an original Mosin-Nagant. The action is full metal, including the bolt, receiver, trigger group, magazine box and barrel band. Combined, they bring the rifle's total weight to 4240 g (4.24 kg) — almost identical to the live-fire original. This isn't a featherweight prop; you can feel the WWII history in your hands every time you shoulder it.
The included PU scope is the iconic short Soviet 3.5× optic that turned the rifle into the most produced sniper system of the war. It's mounted on the proper side-rail and ready to use on day one.
Unlike modern hi-cap snipers, this rifle uses brass-cased shell magazines — one BB per shell. The set ships with four shells, so you can have the rifle loaded for the next four shots, then physically reload the shells like a real Mosin. This is what authentic WWII sniping felt like: work the bolt, eject the shell, load fresh, shoot. There's nothing else on the market that captures the original cycle this faithfully.
Spring-powered bolt action driving a 450 mm tight-bore (6.02 mm) inner barrel — much longer than typical airsoft rifles, which gives the BB time to stabilize before exit. ~340 FPS / 1.07 J with 0.20 g BBs out of the box, stepping up to 0.25 g or 0.28 g for 40–50 m effective sniping range.
Whether you're doing WWII reenactment work, building a Cold War display, filming on a Stalingrad set, or playing as the lone marksman on an airsoft field, this rifle delivers. The weight forces you into proper sniper discipline; the PU scope makes target acquisition feel like the 1940s; and the bolt-cycle plus shell reload is unmistakably Mosin.
Tip: pair with a leather sniper sling, a bag of 0.25 g BBs and a spare set of brass shells — the right loadout to feel like 1944.
