Umarex Legends P08 — The Most Iconic Pistol of the Second World War
Searching for a Luger P08? This is a fully legal 1:1 scale airsoft replica — the same silhouette, size and feel as the historic weapon, but no firearms permit required in most EU countries. Owning a real Luger P08 typically means a certified gun safe, background checks and €1,500–€4,000+ for a collectable original. This replica costs a fraction of that, ships across the EU, and is the fastest legal way to own an accurate copy of this gun for display, historical re-enactment, airsoft skirmish, or as a learning piece. Note: airsoft laws vary by country — it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that owning an airsoft replica is legal where they live before purchasing.
There are pistols, and then there is the Luger P08. Designed by Georg Luger in 1898, adopted by the German Army as its standard service pistol in 1908, and carried by generations of officers and soldiers through two world wars — the P08 is not just a weapon. It is a masterpiece of precision engineering with a silhouette so recognisable that it still defines the image of “the German pistol” to this day. The Umarex Legends P08 is the officially licensed CO2 replica that brings this legend to life on the airsoft field — and in any collection.
The Toggle-Lock Action — Unique in Pistol History
What distinguishes the Luger P08 from every other pistol is its toggle-lock mechanism: the articulated locking system on top of the frame that gives the P08 its unmistakeable profile. Unlike a conventional slide-action pistol, the P08 has a fixed, efficient slide secured by an authentic safety lever — exactly as on the original service weapon. That lever sits in precisely the right position, feels exactly right, and gives this replica an authenticity that other pistols simply cannot match.
Full Metal Construction — 818 Grams of History in Your Hand
The Legends P08 is built entirely of metal and weighs 818 g — close to the 870 g of the original service pistol. The moment you pick it up you feel the difference from cheap plastic replicas: the weight, the cool touch of metal, the perfect balance in the hand. This is a weapon that makes an impression before a single shot is fired.
CO2 System — Powerful and Simple
The P08 is powered by a standard 12 g CO2 cartridge that sits directly inside the metal magazine — alongside 15 BBs. No separate gas lines or external cartridge holders: load the magazine, seat it in the grip, and the pistol is ready to fire. CO2 pressure delivers consistent performance at temperatures between 10 °C and 50 °C.
