Introducing the FNS pistol series, launched in 2011 by FNH USA, an esteemed American subsidiary of the renowned Belgian firearms manufacturer FN Herstal. Designed to rival the popular Glock striker-fired pistols, this line draws heavily from the successful FNX models. Within the FNS family, you'll find the FNS Compact and FNS Longslide pistols, available in 9x19mm and .40 S&W calibers.
Each FNS handgun features a pre-set striker-fired semi-automatic mechanism, characterized by a double-action trigger system without a hammer. Crafted from durable polymer with interchangeable grips of varying sizes, the body of every FNS pistol ensures impact resistance, while the barrel and slide are constructed from stainless steel.
Boasting fully ambidextrous controls, including manual safety and slide release levers, as well as magazine release buttons, FNX pistols offer exceptional versatility. Standard features across all variants include fixed 3-dot sights and a Picatinny accessory rail beneath the frame.
The FNS-9 and FNS-40 pistols are adopted by select police departments in Oklahoma and Kansas, USA, as well as the local law enforcement in Liège, Belgium, attesting to their reliability and performance.
